allow me to make my own decisions
allow me to trust my inhibitions
my instincts
my guts
i was never told what to do or not to do
very rarely were my parents the ones who decided for me
now, too many people seem to think they know what's best and
though i trust that they care
i trust myself more.
i've got to make mistakes in order to learn from them so
please
let me do what needs to be done.
